Oscar Senior s.r.o. ("Oscar Senior", “Oscar”, “We” or “Our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of users of its software applications and services. This Privacy Policy states the Oscar Senior practices applying to all users of all Oscar Senior software services (the "Services").

BY ACCESSING AND USING THE SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THE INFORMATION USE AND COLLECTION TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY. OSCAR SENIOR HAS THE RIGHT TO REVISE THIS POLICY AT ANY TIME. WE MAY NOT NOTIFY USERS INDIVIDUALLY IF WE CHANGE THIS PRIVACY POLICY. ANY CHANGES WILL BE EFFECTIVE WHEN POSTED. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO CHECK THIS PRIVACY POLICY FREQUENTLY FOR CHANGES.

Information we collect

Oscar Senior requires users of the Services to have a user account. The user registering for the Services must provide an email address to establish and maintain a user account. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" includes all information or data that is specific to an individual person and may be used to directly or indirectly determine their identity, such as full names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. Except as specifically stated below, we will not provide Personal Information you provide to us to establish or maintain a user account to any third parties without your express consent.

If you choose to use Oscar’s "invite a friend" or a similar service about Oscar Services or order a gift certificate for your friend, Oscar may store your friend's name and contact details that you provide to Oscar.

The Services will collect and process information about the physical location of your device using GPS or other location technologies, such as sensor data from your device providing information about nearby Wi-Fi access points and cellular network towers (“Location Information”).

Oscar Senior may also collect information regarding a user's use of the Services with software application tools and data files, such as cookies, web log files, IP addresses, device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information, and information relating to how the Services are functioning ("Usage Information").

Use and Disclosure of Information

 

Oscar Senior uses your Personal Information to maintain your user account and operate the Services.

We may use Location Information to configure the Services for your use and provide you with access to information and functionality specific to your location. We also may use Location Information to help fix potential issues.

We use the Usage Information to analyze and evaluate the features and functionality of the Services. Oscar Senior may also use Usage Information to process automatic crash reporting which collects reports of crashes, other technical issues, and information relating to how the Services are functioning.

This information will also be provided to certain third party technology services providers as necessary to provide the Services functionality. Third party technology services providers include software development, application and data hosting, wireless network services providers, and payment processing agents. Oscar Senior is responsible for assuring that these third parties comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Except for our third party technology services providers, we will not voluntarily share Personal Information or Location Information with a third party without your prior authorization, unless doing so is necessary (1) to enforce this Privacy Policy, to comply with law, regulation or other legal processes or to protect the rights, property or safety of us or others, (2) to comply with a valid order or process from a public authority, (3) in emergency situations, (4) to protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the Services, (5) to detect or prevent criminal activity or fraud, or (6) in the event that we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by one or more third parties as a result of an acquisition, merger, sale, reorganization, consolidation or liquidation, in which case Personal Information may be one of the transferred assets.

Tracking Technologies

Oscar Senior uses cookie files and other software tracking technologies (“Tracking Information”). 

We may use Tracking Information for product marketing, promotion, and sales purposes. We may share Tracking Information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. You can opt-out of the uses of Tracking Information by contacting us on support@oscarsenior.com.

We use Google Analytics and Google Analytics Advertising Features to evaluate Tracking Information. You can obtain more detailed information on how Google Analytics functions via this Google webpage: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners. You can opt-out of the Google Analytics Advertising Features we use by changing the privacy settings of your browser.

We do not use tracking technologies, including Google Analytics, to derive or develop any Personal Information about you, other users of the Services, or any third parties.

How we store your personal data

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. It is your responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of your password and we ask you not to share that password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

Children's privacy

Oscar Senior does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If Oscar Senior learns that Oscar Senior has inadvertently gathered personal data from children under 13 years of age, Oscar Senior will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such personal data from Oscar’s records.

Oscar Senior understands the need to provide extra privacy protections to users who are children. To that end, features and services such as social networking plug-ins, behaviorally targeted advertising, and collection of data for the purpose of building user profiles are not available to users under 13. Oscar Senior also does not allow our third party partners who engage in such practices to access personally identifiable data from users under 13.

Oscar Senior and its partners do collect non-personally identifiable data from children. This includes, for example, collection of IP-based geolocation data to ensure that the product, service or features served comply with applicable laws of that nation.

Privacy Shield

Oscar Senior is subject to the EU and Swiss data protection requirements when transferring “Personal Data” from the EU to the United States and from Switzerland to the United States. Oscar Senior certifies that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles and is subject to the enforcement powers of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for such “Personal Data.”

This Privacy Policy is governed by the law of the Czech Republic excluding its choice of law provisions.

Oscar Senior makes good faith efforts to enable you to review, update or correct your personal data in Oscar's possession.

Oscar Senior will need sufficient information from you to establish your identity and to verify your access request, and also to assist us in handling your request.
